ADEON – value-added distributor – announces the release of Excalibur version 4.20.0, bringing new capabilities designed to enhance session monitoring, investigation workflows, and overall user experience.
One of the key updates in this release is the introduction of Anomaly Detection, a feature designed to simplify and enhance the identification, tracking, and response to suspicious session activity. The new Anomaly Triage tab provides administrators with a centralized overview of sessions flagged by anomaly detection, enabling a more structured and efficient investigation process.
The latest version also expands language support in the user application interface, introducing Ukrainian alongside Russian, German, Spanish and the existing English and Slovak options. This update improves accessibility and usability for a broader user base.
All user-facing elements of the application are now localized, including interface text, error and validation messages, export formats, as well as selected email templates. Users can choose their preferred language in the application settings, with date, time, and currency formats automatically adjusted according to the selected locale.
Another improvement is the Landing Page Preference feature, which allows users to define which page should open immediately after signing in. This enhancement helps streamline the login experience and enables users to start working directly in the area they use most frequently.
Excalibur 4.20.0 also introduces Live Session Shadowing, allowing authorized administrators to monitor and shadow active user sessions in real time. The feature supports multiple connection types, including RDP, SSH, and VNC, enabling administrators to observe ongoing activities and respond to potential incidents more quickly without interrupting user workflows.
In addition, the update includes several usability improvements that provide better visibility into user activity. Two new tabs — Location History and Anomalies — have been added to the User Detail page, delivering deeper insights into user behavior and potential security events. A new Refresh action at the table level also allows users to update table content without reloading the entire page.
