ADEON – a value-added distributor – announces the launch of a new version of Xopero ONE and GitProtect. The 2.4.0 release introduces full image-level backup of Linux-based devices, FIPS-compliant encryption, and Microsoft Active Directory integration to expand and strengthen security capabilities of IT environment.
The key enhancement in this version is a full image-level backup developed for Linux environments, which allows users to thoroughly safeguard endpoints running this OS, virtual machines, and SAN arrays. If your company has Linux-based devices, just select them and add to your backup plan to ensure their protection.
Another major update is an implementation of FIPS-compliant encryption for enterprise-grade compliance. Users need to select the new FIPS mode to ensure that a Windows-based backup agent creates backups that comply with cybersecurity regulations approved by NIST and U.S. federal agencies.
Version 2.4.0 also introduces integration with Microsoft Active Directory via the LDAP protocol to simplify user management, centralize access control, and provide a fallback authentication mechanism in case AD is unavailable.
With the new release of Xopero ONE, companies can ensure continuity of QA processes in Azure DevOps. The release introduces backup for Test Plans and Test Suites, enabling end-to-end protection of QA assets and supporting recovery in the event of outages or cyberattacks.
Xopero is a global provider of backup and disaster recovery solutions, offering comprehensive protection for endpoints, virtual machines, servers, databases, NAS devices, DevOps applications, and Microsoft 365.
